I am an Oklahoma native, but I have been here in Texas for 3 years now and I am loving it! I am a licensed professional counselor-associate with a Master’s degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where I also received my Bachelor’s degree in health and sports science and finished my athletic career. I was always interested in the functions of the body, and after graduating, I quickly realized the passion I had for the mind as well.
Healing is hard work, and if you are looking for a “yes woman” I am not your girl. I will challenge your current cognitive processes and ask you to put as much effort into your healing as I will! However, my style of therapy is based on being non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive.
I specialize in treating childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, coping skills, attachment disorders, and life transitions. I also specialize in working with those belonging to minority groups. Though no matter the client, or the presenting problem, my goal will always be to help you grow, heal, and excel!
