Saule Thompson

I am a bilingual (Russian/English) mental health counseling student with a global and multicultural perspective. Born in the former Soviet Union and raised in Central Asia, I bring a deep appreciation for cultural complexity, identity, and human resilience into my work.

Having lived in three different countries, I have developed the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA and a strong commitment to both academic excellence and personal growth.

My path into this field is grounded in over six years of personal development and ongoing therapy, which continue to shape my understanding of relationships, self-worth, and meaning. I am especially interested in working with individuals navigating identity, life transitions, and relational challenges.

Personal Background

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and playing golf – experiences that keep me curious, grounded, and open to new perspectives.

I bring warmth, depth, and presence into my work, and I am excited to continue growing as a clinician during my internship.

I believe that real change begins with honest self-exploration and meaningful connection. My work is grounded in helping people better understand themselves, navigate complexity, and build lives that feel authentic and aligned.
